Create a personal bookshelf of your favorite dental journals on your smartphone or tablet with BrowZine

Do you know that you can create a personal bookshelf of your own favorite dental journals on your smartphone or tablet with BrowZine? The process is easy and the application is free:

  • Download the app from the Apple Store (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play (Android).
  • When the app is launched, please make sure to search and choose "University of Toronto" from the list of libraries.
  • Login with your UTORid and password. Now in addition to the journals from the open access publishers, you can access all the journals University of Toronto Libraries subscribe to.
  • You will be able to find the journal via the subject browse (left corner) or title search (right corner). If you want to browse, Dentistry is under "Biomedical and Health Sciences". And all the dentistry journals are organized by different topics, such as Dental Materials, Dentistry Public Health and Education etc.
  • By clicking the titles you are interested in, it will bring to that title page and in that page, you can add the title to your own Bookshelf or read or save the articles you are interested in. Once you save the article, you can read it offline or you can save it to a citation management software such as RefWorks, Zotero or Mendeley.
